SOUTH HOLLAND, IL South Suburban College Men's Basketball player Tremell Adams was named Region IV-A Player-of-the-Week for the second time in three weeks. Adams, a 6'2 sophomore guard out Curie high school in Chicago, scored 56 points, grabbed 18 rebounds, had 7 assists and shot 21/30 from the field and 10/11 from the free throw line in just two games last week. The Bulldogs won both games defeating Oakton College 81-52 for their 38th home victory in the last 39 games, and beating Lake Michigan College on the road 103-87 on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are currently 9-3 on the season with their next home game vs. Lake County on January 2, 2010.
Coach Pigatti and four players will also make an appearance The Marvell Gable Show this Friday, December 18th at 4:00 p.m., to discuss the current season and their upcoming Holiday Basketball Camp. It will broadcast on 88.9 FM WYBE in the South Suburbs of Chicago and stream live at www.ustream.tv .
