SSC Men's Basketball Team advances to Regional Championship

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL – The South Suburban College Men's Basketball Team won its Semi-Final game on Thursday 73-66 over Illinois Valley Community College. With the win, the Bulldogs improved their overall record to 27-5 and will play for the Region IV-A Championship on Saturday, March 7th at 7:30 p.m. vs. host Triton College (29-3). The Bulldogs are currently ranked 6th in the nation; Triton is ranked 7th.

The Regional Championship game will also broadcast live on the Internet at www.triton.edu/athletics, and will be re-broadcast on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. on WJOB (AM 1230).

The Lady Bulldogs Basketball Team lost their Semi-Final matchup with Moraine Valley by a score of 66-61. The Women finished the season with a 19-12 record.
