• SSCF Cordially invites you to our “Mardi Gras Ball” Scholarship Fund Benefit Dinner, coming to Odyssey Country Club on Friday, April 23, 2010. Tickets are now available for $125 each, and raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $25. Also, as part of the evening’s festivities, both a silent auction and live auction are held. We are seeking donations for auction and sponsors to help raise money to support our students. For tickets or more information, please call 708-596-2000 x2463.
• In 2009, the Foundation awarded its highest number of scholarship awards for the largest total dollar amount with 200 for $125,585.
• In carrying out its mission and purpose, the SSCF has now awarded 1,926 scholarships for $1,052,696 to SSC students since 1989.
• The Foundation has also aided an additional 400 needy students for $95,675 through the Carol Manning Student Assistance Fund since 2001.
