John Saphir Scholarship

Overview

The John Saphir Scholarships will be awarded in the Spring for use in the following Fall, Summer or Spring semesters. The $750 awards cover educational costs, such as tuition, fees and books at South Suburban College. Preference is given to students enrolled in South Suburban College Business programs.

Eligibility

• Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above.
• Must have completed a minimum of nine credit hours with a 3.0 grade point average.
• Must enroll for a minimum of six credit hours during one of the semesters of the scholarship year.
• South Suburban College staff, Foundation Directors, Board of Trustees members and their dependents is not eligible.
• Preference given to applicants who are not receiving other financial aid or employer subsidy.
