Regson Scholarship

Overview

The Regson Scholarship is presented to a student for use in the Summer, Fall, or Spring Semesters. The $1,500 award covers tuition and fees, required supplies and books for a 12 or 15 credit hour Basic Certificate Program approved by the Division of Community Education at South Suburban College.

Eligibility

• Must be a Harvey resident.
• Must submit a high school transcript, an official GED or college transcript.
• Preference given to applicants who are not receiving other financial aid or employer subsidy.
• Must be enrolled in a 12-15 hour program leading to a certificate.
• Must submit an application form and a letter of recommendation.
• Must take the Placement Test in reading, English, and mathematics.
• Must complete all admissions requirements for the Certificate Program of your choice.
• Must complete College Orientation.
