Overview
The Ralph Jerry Berg Memorial Scholarship is presented to one student each Spring semester for use in the following Summer, Fall, or Spring semesters. The $750 award covers educational costs, such as tuition, fees and books at South Suburban College. The award recognizes good citizenship, community service, and responsibility.
Eligibility
- Must have completed a minimum of nine credit hours with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above at South Suburban College.
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours for the current Spring semester.
- Must have a declared major and/or be enrolled in a specific program leading to a certificate or degree.
- Must enroll in at least six credit hours for the upcoming Fall semester.
- Must submit a letter of recommendation from a South Suburban College faculty member.
- South Suburban College staff, Foundation directors, Board of Trustees members and their dependents are not eligible.
- Preference given to applicants who are not receiving other financial aid or employer subsidy.
- Must have resided in the Village of Dolton for at least one year.
