Providence Bank Scholarship

Overview

The Providence Bank Scholarship will be awarded to a South Suburban College student in the Spring for use in the following Summer, Fall or Spring semesters. The $1,000 award covers educational costs such as tuition, fees and books at South Suburban College. Preference given to graduates of Thornwood High School or Seton Academy, or to residents of South Holland.

Eligibility

  • Must have a 3.0 grade point average.
  • Must enroll for a minimum of six credit hours.
  • Preference given to applicants who are not receiving other financial aid or employer subsidy.
  • Must be a resident of School District 510.
  • South Suburban College staff, Foundation directors, Board of Trustees members and their dependents are not eligible.
