Overview
The Frank L. Griffin Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a South Suburban College student in the Spring for use in the following Summer, Fall or Spring semesters. The $750 award covers educational costs such as tuition, fees and books at South Suburban College. Preference given to a journalism student who has worked on the Courier. Secondly, to a student who is majoring in business.
Eligibility
- Must have a 3.0 grade point average.
- Must have a minimum of 15 credit hours.
- Must be recommended by a South Suburban College faculty member.
- Must enroll for a minimum of six credit hours.
- Preference given to applicants who are not receiving other financial aid or employer subsidy.
- South Suburban College staff, Foundation directors, Board of Trustees members and their dependents are not eligible.
