Charles & Mary Bartlett Memorial Scholarship

Overview

The Charles & Mary Bartlett Memorial Scholarship will be awarded in the Spring for use in the following Fall, Summer or Spring semesters. The $750 award covers educational costs, such as tuition, fees and books at South Suburban College. The recipient must provide a letter of recommendation from a faculty member from the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department, and will be selected based on a combination of academic performance and leadership ability.

Eligibility

• Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above.
• Must provide a letter of recommendation from a faculty member from the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department.
• South Suburban College staff, Foundation directors, Board of Trustees members and their dependents are not eligible.
• Preference given to applicants who are not receiving other financial aid or employer subsidy.
• Must be a resident of District 510.
