Business & Career Institute Work Force Development Scholarship

Overview

The Business & Career Institute Work Force Development Scholarship is a monetary award up to $500 per short-term, non-credit training course offered by the College. The scholarship is intended for adults seeking to upgrade their employability skills. Up to four scholarships may be awarded in any calendar year. A committee designated by the management staff of the Business & Career Institute selects recipients. Decisions of the committee are final.

Eligibility

• Must submit an application form and/or narrative demonstrating financial need.
• Must demonstrate applicable link to current job or career goals.
• Letter(s) of Reference required.
• Preference given to applicants who are not receiving other financial aid or employer subsidy.
• South Suburban College staff, Foundation directors, Board of Trustees members and their dependents are not eligible.
