South Suburban College Foundation Returning Adult Scholarships

Overview

South Suburban College Foundation Returning Adult Scholarships are presented to four students for use in the Summer, Fall or Spring semesters. The $750 award recognizes the returning adult student attending South Suburban College. The scholarship awards cover educational costs, such as tuition, fees and books at South Suburban College.

Eligibility

• Must be a returning adult, age 28 or over.
• Must have completed a minimum of nine credit hours with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above.
• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours for the current Spring semester.
• Must have a declared major and/or be enrolled in a specific program leading to a certificate or degree.
• South Suburban College staff, Foundation directors, Board of Trustees members and their dependents are not eligible.
• Preference given to applicants who are not receiving other financial aid or employer subsidy.
• Must be a resident of District 510.
