Overview
Five (5) South Suburban College Foundation Scholarships will be awarded in the Spring for use the following Summer, Fall, or Spring semesters. The $750 awards cover educational costs, such as tuition, fees and books at South Suburban College. The awards recognize outstanding academic performance by students attending South Suburban College.
Eligibility
- Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above.
- Must have completed a minimum of nine credit hours.
- Must have a declared major and/or be enrolled in a specific program leading to a certificate or degree.
- Must enroll for a minimum of nine credit hours for the upcoming Fall semester.
- South Suburban College staff, Foundation directors, Board of Trustees members and their dependents are not eligible.
- Preference given to applicants who are not receiving other financial aid or employer subsidy.
- Must be a resident of District 510.
